Balloon care & our guarantee

Every balloon is filled in our Worle shop with pure, undiluted helium from an official UK helium supplier, and checked when it's inflated.

  • Foil balloons often float for days or weeks. After about 48 hours it's normal for a foil to soften a little while still floating. That isn't a fault.
  • Top tip: pop a drinking straw into the valve and gently blow in a little air. It'll look plump again and still float.
  • Latex balloons float for 8-12 hours, or around 24 hours with Hi-Float.
  • Something wrong? Send us a photo within 24 hours of collection (latex: within its float time) on WhatsApp 07365 001155 or info@sweetsnthings.co.uk. If it's a manufacturing fault, we'll replace it.
  • Keep balloons out of direct sun and hot cars, away from heaters and sharp edges.

All our balloons are advertised as deflated.

If you would like them to include helium inflation you need to add the additional helium from the selection menu.

Inflated balloons are collection only.

Inflated regular size foil balloons come with ribbon and a free plastic weight, however this can be upgraded to a foil weight in the helium menu.

Inflated super shape balloons come with ribbon and the options you select.

We suggest keeping all balloons at room temperature as helium
expands in the heat and shrinks in the cold.

Water - if balloons get wet, they will not float until they
are completely dry again.

We suggest having bags for your balloons as a level of
protection, however this is completely optional
