A message about respect in the shop

We absolutely love having kids come into Sweets 'n' Things — and we stock brilliant fidgets and toys because we want them to have fun browsing. But we need to be honest: recently, things have gone too far.

We've had groups of kids coming in with no money, opening boxes, squeezing products, damaging items and leaving a mess. That's not okay, and it's not fair on the families who do the right thing — or on us.

So here's where we stand. Maximum two children in the shop at a time, unless accompanied by an adult. If you're coming in, come in to buy something. And please respect the shop and our staff. Our CCTV is running at all times, and incidents have been recorded and shared with local schools and police where necessary.

Most kids who visit are polite, brilliant and always welcome. But if you're here to mess about, don't bother. Let's keep this a fun place for everyone. 👍
